ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

OUR STANDARD

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, which builds on the 2.1 Level AA baseline that is widely referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for e-commerce websites in the United States. These guidelines are built on four principles: content should be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users.

We do not claim that this site is fully compliant or fully accessible, and it has not yet been independently audited. Accessibility is an ongoing effort here, not a finished project.

WHAT WE HAVE DONE

These are the specific things we build and test for on this site:

• Keyboard access. Every menu, product option, size chart, cart and checkout field can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, and the focus outline stays visible as you move.
• Text contrast. Body and label text is checked against a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio, and large text against 3:1.
• Images and artwork. Product photography and design artwork carry text alternatives that name the design, the view and the colourway.
• Forms. Every field has a visible label. If something is wrong when you try to pay, the error is described in words next to the field, not by colour alone, and your cursor is moved to the first field that needs fixing.
• Motion. The announcement bar at the top of the page can be paused, and all animation is reduced automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
• Structure. Pages use real headings and landmarks, and a Skip To Content link appears as soon as you press Tab.
• No overlay. We do not use an accessibility overlay or widget. Fixes are made in the site's own code.

KNOWN LIMITATIONS

Some parts of this site may not yet be fully accessible. Payment fields at checkout are rendered by Stripe, and parts of that experience are outside our direct control, though we test the full payment flow with a keyboard and a screen reader. Order tracking pages are hosted by our fulfillment partner. Where we find barriers, in our code or in a partner's, we work to address them or to help you another way.

If you hit an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site, or you need help placing an order, email me. I answer accessibility emails within 3 business days, and if something is broken I will tell you what I am doing about it and by when.

If you cannot use part of the site, I will get you the same information or complete the order another way, including reading out sizing, taking your order over email, and sending any policy on this site in a plain text format on request.

Please include the page address and a short description of the problem, plus the browser or assistive technology you use if you know it. That detail is what lets me reproduce the issue and fix it properly.

REVIEWING THIS STATEMENT

We review this statement and re-test the site at least once a year, and after any significant change to the store. The effective date at the top of this page is when it was last revised.
